Hi

I have a 82 Aquasport 30 center console but no have engines. This boat is for planning charter use and the average speed i use in every trip is 6 to 9 knots and ocasionally use in 10 to 14 knots this is for fishing and scuba dive. My plan is to install 2 125 HP Force in this boat but i have some questions about this proyect
Questions
1- What is the fuel consumption at an average speed 6 to 9 knots with 8 to 10 peoples and ocasionally 10 to 14 knots?
2-Use a 15 x 15 ss propeller is better for fuel economy or what you recomend?
3-The priority is to maintain low fuel consumption at low speed with good drive and maximun economy, but is posible with this types of engine?
The reason why is because these engines installed is; i have 4 motors in exelent workin condition ( 2 more in parts like powerhead and transmision in good condition too) and lot of parts ,no have more money for the proyect,at that moment i need to recover investment and work the boat as tourist season began in PR
I know that the best way for this proyect is to install 2 ,4 stroke like 100 to 150 HP but not have money for this investment
Ok what recomend in the future,
It is more advisable in the future for fuel economy , boat with Diesel engine or the boat i have with 4cycle engine and hight trust propeller at low speed?

Thanks for the attention

Twin 125s will work on the boat.Just make sure the motors match the transom. Some transoms are 20" and some are 25". http://www.onlineoutboards.com This site will explain the transom and motor height.
The 125s will probably need a smaller prop.Maybe a 13p.A 30ft boat is a lot for 125's
The 15p stainless is the same as a 17p aluminum.A high thrust prop on a slow boat is a waste of $$$
These motors are not the best with fuel economy. But if you run them slow it shouldn't be real bad.
The future: Twin 150 4stroke or 100 4 st will be all you need if your just gonna go slow.
An inboard single diesel is probably the most dependable.

Theres NO way I could guess.
The situation is very different as your not gonna run it full throttle.Just up to 15mph.
And if you did run it full throttle there is still no way to tell as I've never seen a pair of 125's on a 30ft.
