2 1971 OMC 125 HP outboards, Different pulse packs and plug ins

Johnson 125ESL71C and Evinrude 125183C. Both motors call for 0384522 pulse pack. Johnson has the right 5 prong plug, for wabash pack, Evinrude has a 3 prong plug for a prestolite, how can I use the 0384522 5 prong on the Evinrude. Thanks for any help.

Just a guess but, it sounds like somebody has switched wiring harneses over the years.
