Kinda new here. I have read a lot of post and have got no good answers. I have a 2.3 liter OMC stern drive 400 series on a Rinker 18' boat all factory. I replaced the floor a couple years ago and the boat itself is all around good condition. The motor recently give up, I noticed water shooting from the head area over the starter of course spraying water on it and there was water in the oil. The trim on the stern drive needs just a small bit of help to come up only. I am wondering what my best course of action would be to get back on the water? Should I replace the motor and stern with another, can I get another block and convert it, should I look at putting an outboard on it? Looking for suggestions.....
