I have a 79' OMC Ford engine and I am trying to check and see if the 50 amp fuses are blown that are next to the trim/tilt solenoids...They seem to be wrapped in this really tight rubber ball or something...I took the wire off and have been trying to cut away at the rubber ball to get to the fuses but have had little success...is there a better way to get to these fuses than I am doing?
