I recently aquired a 15 foot ski boat with a 1974 mercury 1150 motor.<br />The boat came with 2 propellers, both are 21 pitch stock aluminum but one is a 2 blade and the other a 3 blade. According to my Seloc service manual the 2 blade prop would be faster on a light boat.<br />Are 2 blade props "outdated" as a top speed performance upgrade? Seems most of the high performance outboards I see have stainless 3 blade props.
