2" Hole Cover for my Dash/Helm- What to use?

This weekend I replaced the existing 05 Clarion receiver with a wired helm remote on the Sara Belle. (What a project) The new remote for the new Sony was bigger so I had to install it in a different location.

So now I have a 2"-2.5" hole on my dash. What can I use to cover it, that kinda' looks like it belongs there? Keep in mind, that I am the type who measures 5 times and still screws up a cut. If there is anything factory looking that I can put in its place, like a plate, or grommet of some kind, I would prefer that.

Thanks,
Ollie

Whatever problem you have; Someone has already had it!
Something like THIS?

The manufacturer of your gauges also likely makes a blank gauge assembly that will exactly match the other gauges if you are really picky.

Once you have the Cable Hole Plug, cut it, and install a red toggle switch in it.
Label it "Missile Launch".

another option might be a RAM gimbal base of some sort if you have something that could be mounted in it such as a gps or vhf

Gauge Instruments are about that size. Do you need one?

Ha!! Yes, I would "like" one and considered it, however I have a Garmin Chartplotter/Sounder that it would interfere with. I actually started a thread in the Electronics section about this this morning.

Thanks UncleWillie. I googled, and looked today and all I could find were PVC end caps. I'll order them up!!!!

Kevin-Maybe...if my boat was the size of your Wellcraft:D - I have a really small dash. I couldn't even fit the Sony remote in place of the Clarion because the hole was an 1 1/4" larger. My Garmin is bracket mounted on top of the dash.

yeah my dash is small too after stuffing it full of two sets of gauges and a synchronizer... I was thinking of a small one that would fit in the existing hole.
