My boating Club was trying to restore and put back into full operation this oldie motor. Has been excessively fingered by shade tree mechanics but has been brought to life after hours working on it in plain summer sun. The last pseudo mechanic replaced the main 25 amp fuse with a thin wire....

All six injectors were cleaned by ultrasound, although perfectly cleaned and tested 2 seem to miss at wot. Question : being injectors quite expensive, will you need to replace for new ones all six of them or just the 2 with issues ? Is there an issue combining new and old injectors ? Where can I find a Service Manual for this motor ?

Cleaning without flow testing is wasted effort...injector are cheap and can be miss match. I would send it to a MARINE testing shop and have cleaned, flow tested and balanced. Just because they are clean don't mean they flow correctly. Its a 2.5 L mota

All six injectors were cleaned, flow tested, ballanced at a reputed workshop that works with all kind of inyectors. Probably the injectors are working OK but hat motor needs a full electrical troubleshooting that's why a Service Manual is mandatory to count with. There's a lot of rusted terminals that needs to be cleaned if wanting all electrical components to work as when factory delivered. Whats's a 2.5 L mota ?

If you have 2 injectors missing the cleaners did a crappy job as most can clean but many cant flow and balance. That is a 2.5 liter motor and if you don't have a DDT there are many thing you cannot test.

2 Inyectors is what the pseudo mechanic thinks are with issues, so it's impossible for injectors to go bad over the years, bear in mind that this motor has been in the patio for years and never taken proper care at all..

If there are things that you can't test properly, seems owner will need to go for a smaller boat and a modern motor..LOL!!

If it was a reputed shop they would have found the 2 bad injectors plus a print out of injector parameters
