What were the last years of 2 stroke ( portable size) outboards from OMC or Merc?

Welcome to Iboats,

Don't know much about OMC, was taken over by BRP and probably shut their 2 strokes production some time after. Merc has a joint venture with Tohatsu and still sells 2 strokes engines up to 50 HP portables, but are currently rebadges same Tohatsu models. Still can be bought in countries worldwide that have not banned them-

NADA price guide lists 2007 Johnson 2 stroke 9.9 and 15. These appear to be real OMC/BRP motors.

What were the last years of 2 stroke ( portable size) outboards from OMC or Merc?

Last year manufactured for the US market was 2006, after that, they did not meat epa rules.

There where still motors stockpiled/warehoused until supplies ran out for a few years after that.
