2 things?

Testing toons ? I put plugs in the top holes on the toon and plan on putting a little compressed air into them to test if the have any leaks.

How much pressure should be used?
24" by 28ft long

also when I tap on them it sounds very hollow and almost "thin" or weak? can toons over time become brittle and thin?

2 to 4 psi is the max and thats how they should sound.

+1 ^^^ Don't go anywhere near 10 psi. < 5 psi is all thats needed.

awesome thanks, I will have to find a smaller gauge to put on my regulator then. It is increments of 5psi

yea, watch the pressure if the sun is hot. Not sure where you live but say your put in 5 psi and the sun is strong, the pressure may rise to bad levels. If so, cool it with a water hose or vent it.

I used to check underground storage tanks before install. 4 psi is plenty. doesn't sound like much, but even slightly higher psi would be a big problem if they rupture.
