20 hp evinrude, any good or bad on this motor? need feed back before purchase.

saw a 20 hp evinrude on craigslist, electric start, so if any one has one, worked on one, or good bad stuff let me know. I really don't need it because I would also need another boat, like I need more holes in my head. thanks, ron

The above statement in bold is just crazy talk----there's no such thing as a man that doesn't NEED another outboard. It's like saying you don't need another shotgun or hunting dog........ I can't think of any 20hp OMC's that aren't good motors. However, I like the ones with shallow drive and the through-hub exhaust, and don't have the shear pins the best. Electric start is nice to have, too.

Yeah bold crazy talk! wife is gone on vacation and I have some secret money. I really hate it when titles come in the mail and I don't get them before her. Anyway never got a call back. I remember the day she finally noticed my cragars and asked how much did those hubcaps cost!
