20 hp tilt

the new boat will have a 20 hp 4 stroke tohatsu. is power tilt necessary on this motor? 1648 mv aluminum jon. tiller. thanks

Normally no...But, it's an expectation thing. Some effort is required to lift the engine, but not a lot.

Since I am getting old and fat, I have come to appreciate electric start and power tilt more

when i bought my 9.8 Tohatsu this year, i was kinda skeptical on the electric start and PT&T, now i love it and wonder why i never did it before, now i want to be lazy with the 6HP as well.............nope not possible
nothing like having button control of everything on the tiller
