Hello everyone,

I am the new owner of a 2004 Lund Alaskan. I am wondering if anyone can confirm the size of the built-in fuel tank. I know the newer ones come with a 27 gallon tank and that older ones had 19 gallon tanks but I am not sure what mine will have.

I do have a manual that was Lund sent to me after I emailed them asking for one (I was impressed with the fact that they did mail me one even though I am not the original owner of the boat). Unfortunately there is no mention of fuel tank capacity in that manual.

Can anyone say with certainty?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to iboats.
If you can get to where you can see your tank, there should be a tag on it telling you how many gallon/litre it holds.

Well, I can't to her at all right now (nder tarp, remote location) but when I could...I could only see the filler opening, the tank is "built-in" to the floor, hence the question.

Understood, reason I said that, did not know if you could see the top of the tank or not.

Ok, I emailed Lund directly and they have replied already (very quick!). The answer is.......

"All 2000 Alaskans in model year 2004 have 27 gallon tanks."

So... there we have it.

Thanks to those that tried to help.

Cheers,
EH
