I have a 1991 200 HP Johnson V6 2cycle with Oil Injection. I was just told that California is going to ban 2 cycle non fuel injected boat from many lakes. I have very few hours on this motor and can't afford a 4 cycle or newer motor. Is there an after market manufacturer that makes Fuel injection replacement for the carborated Johnson motor? There has to be thousands of these motors out there.

Fuel injected 2-stroke motors are banned from Lake Tahoe and a couple of drinking water supply lakes in CA. Motors have to be the direct injected 2-strokes such as FICHT, E-TEC, HPDI, or Optimax that meet EPA 2206 emission levels which are the same as CARB 1-star. Not all 4-strokes are allowed because some older carbureted 4-strokes cannot meet those emission specs.
