Hi guys, I put this motor on this spring and as the summer progressed, I got an intermittent overheat alarm. Replaced the stats, diaphragm on the poppet, and a new water pump. When I took out the stats, it looked like the block was corroded and when I put them back in they leaked. I had to Permatex the surfaces. I still had a little dribble. I am thinking of making a thin gasket for each housing. Good idea? Also when I had the water pump out I noticed I could move the drive shaft side to side maybe 1/32 or so. What is acceptable play. Oil is slightly milky. Thanks for the help...V20
