Engine always starts fine and runs great.Once started after sitting and fishing for a while it will start right up but once you put it in gear and give it a little gas it will die unless you do it fast and then its off to the races.Any ideas?

Time to clean your carbs.

The idle air passages may be getting dirty, not allowing the proper air flow necessary for the idle to pull the correct idle fuel supply, the motor 'seems' to get weak and die unless you rapidly get the throttle open past the idle range.

While you have the carbs apart use new 'kits'.
