I love the motors, but after running them hard I've noticed that oil is seeping from under the cowling. I've had a local mech. look at it, but he couldn't get it to leak. The mech. took of the cowling to look and found nothing. Any idea's?

Thanks, I'm glad I found this web site!

Are these carb or ficht motors? The fichts are known for this as the oil vapor condenses in throttle plate and leaks down the throttle shafts, the cure is to replace the throttle shaft seals. I carb engine look for cracked bleed line or oil line loose and have seen VRO leaks at the warning module.

Do I need to be more specific? If so, where would I find the model #?
Thanks

I will check all of those, next week when I get the shrinkrap off the boat. I've got to wait for the ice to come of Lk. Superior.

Thanks
