I just bought this boat and before I dig in I thought I would see if anyone has had this same problems. My volt, rpm, and trim gauge dont work. The trim gauge shows 3/4's of the way down and the rmp gauge is at 1800 and both dont move regardless of key on or off. Alls Ive done are check the fuses which are good. Any ideas? thanks

So I'm just guessing that you've had the motor running while you found all of these faults? Just by having the key in the 'on' position you sometimes will get zero readings from some gauges - like the tach and possibly the voltmeter. :D

The gauges in my 2001 have been replaced 3 times when under warranty. I came to find out that when I store anything in the bow seat back in front of the instrument cluster- it shifts the plug on the gauges. It is a poor contact to begin with and a bad design- I have to constantly mess with it as it has like 26 pins and it always seems like 1 or 2 are not making contact. Try some dilitium grease- it works for a bit. Hopefully this solves your problem- aggrivating- but they switched the design after 2001. Good luck!

Yes... is sounds like you need some dilithium crystals... you can find them on Rigel 12...
