my old powerhead had a hole in it so i bought a new reman block and my ? is do i need to do the timing on the new motor and any tips for the new motor??
First find out why that cylinder failed!!! Send the injectors and ECU off to have cleaned and checked or you may go thru this again. And yes you need to set the timing and check the spark advance box also. I would send you a link but Mercury has took down the 1manual site...
sorry still stuck on timing. manuel says i need timing light but where do i point the timing light too????? also i really dont get
