I have come here often and found answers to my questions but I cannot figure this one out so I thought I would post a question.
Last time in the lake my boat started smelling like gasoline. I took it home and didn't touch it for about a month. When I went to winterize it I could not get it to start. I winterized it and left it for the winter. Now I am trying to get it ready for summer and it will not start at all. When I mist gas into the throttle body it starts and will stay running as long as I am spraying fuel into the intake. I have 40psi of fuel pressure. I have a brand new battery with 880 CCA. I checked the injectors and they are getting 12V to them when I turn the key on. My thought is that the ECM is just not firing the injectors. What makes the ECM fire the injectors? I am also gettting rpms showing on the tach when I crank it. I looked for a crank shaft postion sensor but cannot find one. Is there a canshaft postion sensor and if so where is it?
Thanks for your help in advance.
