2000 49hp Johnson acts like run out fuel and dies

I got a 40hp Johnson starts right up and will idle fine. But when u go full throttle it will bog down and die then real hard to start. I checked the primer ball and it never lost pressure. U can turn fast idle up and it will start and run somewhat rough then clean up and idle

how longs it been since the carbs were rebuilt? how are your gas lines? ethanol rots the lines from the inside out, check your lines if they're soft this is probably happening, read through the carb rebuild threads there are some here who have talked about how bad their carbs were gummed up and even stopped up with the rubber from this. Replace all the lines with the ethanol resistant ones. that's where I'd start

I took carbs apart today everything was real clean and I could blow threw jets. It ran in oct the set outside all winter before I bought it this spring. I changed fuel today and re installed carbs. Gonna try tom
