Hi Everyone,

I hope you all had a good 4th of July, I was lucky enough to catch a lot of fish and have a good time with the family on the boat.

I was able to start the boat (by opening the red lever on the Primer Solenoid , which I have to replace and closing it) it ran great and once we got out there I had a problem starting it and had to fix a leaking fuel line going in to the lower card (the line from the Primer solenoid), it started and ran fine the rest of the day. Then once we got back to the dock it stalled out and it would not idle in with out pushing it to three quarter throttle. On advise of someone at the dock I adjusted the knob on the throttle cable so that it ran with out stalling, but I am not sure if that is the correct fix for this problem. He said that he thought the throttle cable had stretched and that is why I needed to adjust the knob. Does anyone have any thought on this? Any and all help/advise is appreciated.

Thanks

Regards

Harry

After reading the manual it appears as if I should have adjusted the linkage lever near the Carbs to adjust if correctly, but I also read on the forums that you can adjust the cable if possible to get the same results. Is there a one option that is better than the other? Also does it sound like I have a stretched throttle cable and is so should I replace the cables?
