Starts fine, after a few minutes, loses rpms. Took it out to try to run to blow it out thinking fuel related issue. Discovered it will run wot when primer bulb is pumped continuously, bulb itshard. Sounds like it is starving for fuel. Where to start? fuel pump or carb? Please help.

Sounds like fuel pump to me. Just went through the same thing at the beginning of July.

fuel pump first, go with the oms fuel pump. i believe yours had the oms, as original equip. then prime fuel and oil to the pump before running.

if i'm not mistaken you can go with a block mounted fuel pump. if you have the mounting on the block. pump 433387.

Thanks, no room and no mounts - looks like I be spending money (est $350) on a new fuel pump (part 5007420). Do they make kits for this fuel pump? An where can I find one?
