2000 evinrude 175 ficht check eng light

Motor has not been ran in over a year all the following is new
Spark plugs (indexed)
Water/fuel separators
Plug wires
I got it to start with starter fluid and new gas in aux tank. Runs but bogs when I give it gas. What should I look for? Seems like it may be running in limp mode not sure though. Temp got up to just over 160’

lots to check...but I am no ficht expert !! others will chime in

VST small conical filter on the injector return fuel line to the VST . You VST may have one even if not shown on the diagrams seepic

see description for a modern.. ETEC
lift pump faulty... CHANGE IMPELLER !!
VST top venting float valve not working
fault codes on the EMM ... you need Evinrude diagnostic, connector cable PC to motor to extract the fault log .
dirty injectors..try some Evinrude engine cleaner
etc...
you can buy EV diag. on some Internet sites if you google it . buy the proper one. works on cheap laptop with Windows 10

Don't see a water pump on that list... If I'm correct it has 133 or 140 degree thermostats

Having said that, where is the "flush" plug? Not going to cool properly w/o it
