2000 Evinrude 175 Ficht quits while pushing forward on throttle

I have a 2000 Evinrude 175 Ficht Ram that starts great, runs at an idle I can put into gear it continues to run well at idle speed, but when I push the throttle forward or in reverse the motor quits. Now this is what I've checked so far. It does the same thing when the shift cable is disengaged. If i push it fast and rev the motor up quickly it sputters but recovers, but doesn't quit. I have pushed on the shift switch and it will kill the motor to verify it is working. i have taken the shift switch off and used just the throttle itself and it still quits. Any Ideas as to what could be the issue?

Could be TPS....

Check to see if the the Fuel pump is working, the big electric pump, not the Lift pump(which looks like an Older Fuel Pump)
