2000 johnson 150

[Late Nites]

looking to buy a bigger boat TODAY, and it comes with a 2000 johnson 150 2 stroke. What kind of a reputation does these motors have? It has under 100 hours and just wnting to find out if it's a good motor, or are they prone to specific problems. <br /><br />thanks

I have to make a decision in 3 hours, I've searched the motor w/ no real imformation about it.

My 2 cents<br />1997-1999 OMC motors had some quality control issues. BRP is making a quality product today. The design of the V6 60 degree eagle small block is proven and should give you worry free years if it was well maintained for the last 5 years and you continue as well. For the right price and condition, I'd would not hesitate for an instant.<br />Good luck
