2000 Johnson 90 - PTT and throttle link?

I wonder what my recent problem is. When I am at mid throttle or higher, I notice that when I use the power tilt the motor seriously bogs down, it doesn't stall, but it loses alot of power. When I de-activate the power tilt the bogging down stops. I notice this same bogging down problem very briefly when not using the power tilt but it is only intermittent, thus, when I open it up sometimes its goes no problem, sometimes it will bog for a quick second and continue on its way. The bogging, whether using the PTT or not, both seem very similar and feels like I am running ground almost.

Fuel system is all new. Batteries new. Carbs not rebuilt. Visual check of connections and grounds seemed ok. What should I look for or test? Coulld power tilt motor be on its way out? Loose wire somewhere? I can live with the problem, but I want to get to the bottom of it ahead of time before it becomes major.

Thanks for the help.

i would check compression and spark, along with carbs. the tilt works off the 12 volt DC system. not the AC system the stator puts out. the tilting is probably putting more load on the motor itself.
