2000 Volvo Penta DP Sterndrive

I need help figuring out how to remove the hydraulic manifold from a 2000 Volvo Penta DP sterndrive. The sterndrive has been removed and the hydraulic lines have been unscrewed from the manifold. I think the threads on the manifold may be stripped out a little so I need some direction on how to remove the manifold.

There is a locknut and washer just above and slightly to port on the manifold, remove them.
Then on the inside of the boat remove any clamps holding the 2 hoses that supply from the pump.
Then back on the out side put some strong string around the manifold and give it a strong pull. 2 "O" rings seal and secure it in place.
Once free you can pull it out just far enough to get a spanner on the 2 supply hoses, mark them before disconnecting them so they can be replaced correctly.
