So just put a new vro pump on and was running great then drove at idle for a while tried to come back up and it died on me. I haven't been playing with it since then. New fuel hose and priming bulb, new sparks, and new hose clamps on fuel lines vs zip ties. I can sometimes get it going again but usually dies at idle. When I move the Shrader valve to 3 o'clock or 12 vs the run position of 6 o'clock I can get it going and stay at idle. If it is nice and warmed up I can move it back to run position and it will hold idle. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the help Alex

clogged idle passages in carbs....I am pretty sure opening the Schrader valve is the same as priming....just continuous... so you are getting MORE gas.. and that's what the motor is asking for ....so....tells me when the system is normal(Schrader closed) the carbs are not letting enough gas by for the volume of air....

clogged idle passages.....

rebuild and clean the carbs

You will see a small idle air bleed jet on the front face of each carb, to the left of each venturi bore. With engine running, (do what you have to do to keep it running), use a whole can of spray carb cleaner with the straw, and spray directly into those idle air bleed jets.
Use the whole can across all six carbs.
It might clear it up, it might not.
If it DOES NOT clear up, you will have to pull carbs AND throttle bodies and clean PROPERLY and thoroughly, then re-link and sync the engine.

Thanks you for the help. I just did all that in April, you think something just got sucked up in there.
