Any ideas here?<br /><br />Coming in from offshore this past Saturday I noticed a strange sulfur type smell coming from the battery compartment. I checked the battery and it was very hot so I disconnected. I also noticed the guage was showing 17 volts. I then tried to start on the other battery and the ECU/Ignition Coil/Electric Fuel Pump fuse kept blowing. Is this something one with mechanical ability and common sense can troubleshoot/repair or should I take it directly to the shop?
