2001 25 4 stroke power trim

the power trim seems to work only when it wants to when it dos'nt work i can hear the relays clicking.Any ideas???

The tilt trim motor and all the 12v+ connections are not making good contact somewhere in the system. Start by cleaning the main conections at the battery and then on the relays, then check the voltage at the relays from the tilt switch. Clean and check all the fuses on the motor. If you get voltage at the relays going to the motor then the motor would need to be checked and repaired. JMO
