Quick question,

Doing some tuneup/going over the new boat purchase.

I've seen some posts on Mercarb fuel drip. I've got Carbon fouling on my rear (Stern) plugs only on my 4.3 when I changed them.

Boat runs fine right now. Reaches correct RPM and speed at WOT.

Would this be indicative of the carb dripping into the rear cylinders when the boat is off?

Does a rebuild usually fix this?

Also, Starboard riser is noticeably hotter than port, but not overheating, should I be worried?

Thanks!

A carb rebuild should fix the drip, if it doesn't then the carb wasn't adjusted correctly or something is wrong with the housing

Its normal for one side to be a tad hotter then the other, just the water water flows
