[h=2]50hp 4stroke mercury ecm and high oil pressure[/h]
2001 50hp 4stroke mercury oil pressure is steady 60 pl at start up and when engine warm. What is the cause and what is the remedy, if any? Compression is 200 at wot on all cylinders. Also, will this 60psi result in ECM keeping engine below 2000 rpms? Motor statts immediately, idles excellently, but will not reach over 2000 rpm. new water pump, carbs rebuilt.Have been to 3 mercury mechanics, unable to solve. Please help. Thanks
