I just installed a new trim motor on my mercury and you can hear the motor working but it is not lifting my motor. I am guessing that it is not working due to pressure, so how do bleed the hydrolic pump to build pressure or is this not even the problem? any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Did you make sure coupler from motor shaft to pump shaft was installed?

yeah my buddy took the old motor off when i wasnt home and the coupler fell off and he didn't know, and this is the first time i have changed a trim motor so i didn't think to look for any missing parts. but then after looking it up i relized that i was missing the coupler, so i found it and problem solved. thank you very much
