2001 alumacraft classic 165 trolling motor plug

hey guys, i been having trouble finding a female plug for my new bow mount trolling motor on my 2001 alumacraft. thier is a male outlet in the bow, but i've tried 2 different plugs, and neither fit. does anyone know what plug i need for the trolling motor end?

Much easier and cleaner to find the one that mates to the motor, and then install it on the boat.

Should be an easy job, as the wires are already there.

thx roscoe. didn't really want to change out the outlet, but like you said, it would be an easy job.

I have that boat and a standard plug fits just fine. Don't know where you are looking for plugs but those are either two or three pin round unless there has been a running change in manufacturing at some point..
