My F115 started cutting out @ WOT and then started stoping. Except for a couple of times it would take off again w/o problems. Shop had it 6 weeks pulled VST several times, added 10 micron filter, stated they saw trash in the gas probably from gas line. Called in rep and said water test was good so it was fixed. Cost about 1200 bucks for parts and labor. Started acting up again so called Yamaha and asked for best shop near Greenville SC. This shop pulled the injectors and sent out for cleaning, replaced timing belt and water pump. Motor seemed to run good for a while then a buzzer started coming on when taking off. Took in and he replaced oil pressure sensor and said it was low on oil. Also said compression was low. He said he did not check the oil when he had it the first time. Motor has never burnt oil or used oil. Now the motor acts like is has less HP and about 1/4 of the oil disappears every weekend after around 10 hrs trolling and 30 min to 1 hr of hard running. I don't see the motor burning oil but it reads low every time. Any ideas on what may be going on and where the oil might be going?

Thanks

find a real shop.
maybe seahorse lives/works in that area.
you motor may have a recall bulliten that may address you oil loss issue.
compression test on a 4 stroke is a teat on a boar hog.
use a leak down test.
use the yamaha dealer locator search function and find a shop that employs at least 1 master tech.
