Put the boat in Sunday and ran 7 miles out the river with both motors running 3500 rpm's. Hit the bay and increase speed to 4300 RPM's. After a few minutes the port engine went into SLOW mode but no lights came on the dash tach. I immediately slowed down and hooked up my PALM. EMM stored code 22- Engine overheat. I scrolled through the dynamics and the software showed the engine temp to be only 145 degrees with a max of 190(not sure if that 190 happened this time or not.) Water flow seemed fine and didn't feel much different than the starboard engine. After a little nosing around and watching the engine temp on the PALM, I put the engine cover back on and took off again. We ran the rest of the day with no problems. Thought maybe it was just a one time thing until yesterday when it all happened again, same as Sunday. Dash water meters show 10 lbs on port and 12lbs starboard. Both water pumps replaced 2 years ago. Both EMM's replaced by DFI technologies this year. Not sure where to look for my overheating problem or if the motor is actually overheating. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
