2001 Johnson 150 develops skip after warming

Once I run my boat for 20-30 minutes of run and gun fishing, I develop a skipping in my engine. I have checked gas, filters and plugs. The skipping is not that noticeable, and doesn't happen all the time. Any ideas?

Check timer sensor, power pack, ignition coils.

Had the same problem with my '01 Johnson 150. Turned out to be a fouled plug. All of 'em looked OK, but the skipping went away after I changed them. Closer inspection revealed a carbon bridging between the center electrode and insulator on one plug.
