2001 johnson 50hp rpm gauge

I recently bought a 2001 lowe 175 stinger with a 50hp 2 stroke johnson outboard motor. I am trying to diagnose why my rpm gauge and speedometer do not work. I havent found much online googling. Other than those two gauges everything on the boat works perfect.
