2001 Merc 150, 2001 Ranger R83

Just a year old. Problem with milky-white substance crusting on SS Prop every time I put it on any lake. None of the other bass clubbers have this problem. Still does it even when the trolling motor is not used and is disconnected. Anyone have ideas? :rolleyes:

has the zinc (trim tab) been removed from the motor?

I appreciate the reply. This motor does not have a trim tab, I assume due to hydralic steering. In place of the tab there is a round zink plate installed. The motor also has two other zink plates attached to it, one on the motor mount and one on the front of the lower unit. Any ideas?
