Can someone tell what the water pump seal tube does. It a tube that sits on top of the water pump, it's about 3 or 4 inches long looks like its made of PVC on the outside with rubber inside. I see my rubber starting to peel from the inside of the tube. Can anyone tell me what this does is it important, I was just going to glue that small section on the inside of the tube back to to walls.
