My VZ150TLRZ loses power when making a left turn. The loss of power does not matter at what RPM the engine is running. However, as soon as I turn the wheel back to center or to the right, the engine continues running. The engine is easy to start and runs great until I turn the steering wheel to the left. I have replaced the fuel hoses with regular 5/16" gas fuel lines from the tank to the filter. That did not make a difference. I did not replace the hand ball pump. I have taken the lines and wiring out of the rubber boot that goes through the engine and checked for leaks or frayed wiring. I have traced the hoses and wiring inside the boat for possible shorts but was unable to find any problems. When I run the engine with a water bra, the engine runs fine. I can turn the engine in any direction and there is not a problem. I am stumped.

Have you though about using a pressure/ vacuum gauge to see if it is in the fuel supply or at least eliminate that part of the equation

and then use an inductive timing light to see if some of the cylinders are loosing spark when the problem is occurring.

Do you think water or trash in fuel system could be sloshing over to a critical spot when in a right turn? Just a thought since it does not happen when not moving.
