2002 150 hp evinrude ficht

Engine is idling about 200 rpm higher than spec. Can this be adjusted by myself or is it a "dealer only" adjustment?

Computer sets the idle, it is not adjustable. Most likely your tach is "off" at the low rpm range, as most of them are.

Thank you. I was hoping to reduce my speed at idle with a simple adjustment vs. other options. Guess I'll have to look at the other options.
