As far as flushing, there may be a place to screw in a hose and flush with motor off, I cant recall. It would look like a female garden hose thingy on the front right side near the lower cowl. Alternatively, just use ears and run the motor with a good strong supply from the hose. The ears are placed over the inlet screens located just above the bullet and below cav plate.
