2002 5.0 GL-A Camshaft - Roller?

Greetings Everyone,

I am doing a bit of research on my new boats 305 SBC or volvo penta 5.0. I looked at parts fiche and I believe the camshaft is a roller in this engine based on the fact that they sell keepers for the lifters and you do not need nor want these on a flat tappet because you want them to rotor for even wear.

Can anyone confirm that the camshafts in a 2002 5.0 GL-A is a roller camshaft?

Also, what oil are is everyone using in these engines, I am planning on 10W-30 Full Synthetic.

The 350 has been roller lifters for many years, even before yours.
I moved this thread to the non repair forum, there are only about a million different posts here on what oil you can use just look around.
