Got it now, the OP's car engine is a less valuable than the boat engine, so it's OK to run some crap gas thru it.

Did I get that right this time ? :facepalm:

Once gas goes bad, its bad and nothing will bring it back. You can mix it a little at a time with some good, but your just make the good stuff not so good, but probably good enough to burn somewhat.
My thought exactly. And although I probably wouldn't burn it in a boat even after doing that, I would (and have many times) certainly burn it in a car since you're driving around at very low power output instead of doing 1/4 mile track runs or pulling 10,000lbs up a 10% grade.
