OK Guys...here goes..I'm winterizing this weekend or next. I'll go thru the check list..but my question has to do with flushing the motor..what's best..flushing with the ears/muffs on and the motor running, or just hooking up the hose to my flush port? I'd like to start her up to warm up the engine which would make draining the lower unit a little easier. I'll take the prop off, and I'll run it for 10-15 minutes, fog it, pull the plugs, fog the cylinders (turn it over a few turns), replace the plugs. Drain the lower oil & replace and spray some CRC/WD-40 on the motor after it cools. I hope to hear from the seasoned guys with lots of hours and lots of experience..the guys that turn the screws...not the guys that make the TV commercials...this site is great..thanks for any advise as I've heard so many opinions on this my head is spinning.
Thanks
Flotsum

Make sure that it is in an upright position, not tilted, when you are done. This lets the water drain out. Otherwise you have it nailed.
