I have a 2002 50hp Johnson EFI outboard. The #3 piston will not fire. I have swapped the coils and the fuel injectors and the problem stays on the same cylinder. The trouble code remains at 4-3 which is fuel injector problem. I check the voltage on the #3 injector and it appears to be low.
The motor will run with only 2 cylinders firing but it has no power. I am thinking that if one of the sensors were bad the motor would not run at all.
