2002 johnson oil recirculating leak

my bottom recirculating fitting has been leaking,when you remove the fitting. what type of sealer do you use around the fitting when reinstalling. Paid company to repair fitting,still leaking. ordered new fitting from johnson.

60% 2 stroke looper right? I'm asking because you said "Oil recirculating leak",
Or is it a ficht??
On the 2 stroke looper the fitting is just pressed in. If yours is leaking you might try some permatex 2 on it when you put it in.
