When I purchased the boat 2 years ago, we noticed that the bilge pump ran allot. Our marine mechanic pointed out that there were three stress cracks where the supports stopped just below the water line. These were repaired, and then this year another one appeared just aft of the first three and the two of first welds cracked again. All of these have been repaired.

I did contact Lowe Boats and there only response was that something is happening inside the hull and I need to have it checked out. I inquired about the "Life Time Hull Warranty", The 2002 has a 10 year prorated warranty ONLY for the original Owner. I am the third owner to the best of my knowledge.

The repair shop that did the welding has suggested that it could be a structural flaw. I presented this information to Lowe and haven't received a response, dah :)

Since the hull no has four very visible weld jobs, it is time to remove the deck and investigate and repair the issue. While the deck is removed were replacing the vinyl, carpeting, fuel hoses, and live well hose. This model also has a flip up changing station on the starboard aft deck that has deteriorated. This is where swimmers return to the boat, therefore gets most of the abuse.

I have a local person who is very good with vinyl and carpeting. J&D Covers, Carl Junction, MO. They make custom covers for boats.

If we are successfull in locating and repairing the hull issues, I will also like to add docking lights in the bow, and change out the wiring.

What I would like to know/have is a hull diagram so I have an idea of what I am getting into, and any information & support this forum could provide.

Thank You in Advance for your support
