Just bought -150 hrs-always run with ethanol fuel and seafoam. Maiden voyage idle was set high wouldn't slow idle but ran great. I left it idling for half hour then another long idle down the canals twice. Today after sitting on anchor it would not stay idling in neutral-run 10 seconds and die-restart same-had to punch it into gear to get moving. I noticed that it didn,t idle fast anymore. Could it be plugs from all of the idling? I will run ethanol free fuel going forward. Finally is seafoam safe or recommended for constant use?

I wouldnt use sea foam to often. Check fuel filter/plugs.

I used for 10 years with no wrenches on a 2002 90 2 stroke at the 1 oz per gallon recommended rate. Why not say you??????? BS sounds like to me. Too many happy users out there on different types of equipment sites.

It good as long as you use it as instructed. I have seen several motors damaged due to the overdoses that are posted online. Check the thermal air valve if a carb mota….

Yep....can tell you 2 ounces per gallon doesn’t work so well in a 2 stoke golf cart running 128:1
